Meet Potato!
Meet Potato! Potato is a one and a half year old Holland Lop Rabbit. The Holland Lop Rabbit originated in the Netherlands by a man named Adrian DeCook. In 1975, DeCook cross bred a Netherland Dwarf Buck with a French Lop Doe, and developed the breed from there. These little flat-faced, floppy eared rabbits are the most popular breed in the U.S. The most common colors include black or chestnut, or any variation of the two. Potato’s story started when his Mom and Dad moved out of there childhood homes, and in with each other. They waned to start their own family, so they began looking for the perfect companion. They searched high and low, then finally came across a pet adoption group that had Potato. Once they saw him, it was love at first sight.

Potato is such a little love bug. Whenever Kaylin, Potato’s mom, comes home he always runs over and greets her. He absolutely loves to be around people! He will lay down next to his parents, follow them around the house, and will nudge them when he wants his head rubbed!

Potato’s two favorite things in the whole world are hanging out with his parents and eating bananas! He absolutely loves to eat bananas and will do whatever it takes to get one. He also likes to play dress up! For halloween he was a witch and a baked potato! Potato is all about making people laugh. One of his funniest moments was when Kaylin used the Petzi Treat Cam for the first time. She had logged in and the exact moment the camera turned on Potato came running into the room at full speed! He brings so much joy to Kaylin’s life, and has become such an important part of their family.
